2 June 2013 Launch Party
Join us at the Moth Studios to celebrate the launch of the first issue of The Caterpillar. There'll be all the the necessary ingredients for a great party  story time with actors Will Govan and Tommy Sharkey, music by Annie June Callaghan and Shane Carroll (on ukulele), amazing animation and a wonderful sea life exhibition by Kasia Zimnoch, as well as sweets and treats and games! Everyone welcome (including grown-ups). From 3-5pm.

1 September 2014 The Caterpillar Poetry Prize launched
The inaugural Caterpillar Poetry Prize - a prize for the best poem written by an adult for children (between the ages of 7 and 11) is now open. You can read more about it in The Bookseller

1 May 2015 The Caterpillar Short Story Prize launched
Owing to the amazing response to The Caterpillar Poetry Prize, the inaugural Caterpillar Short Story Prize has been lauched - with a prize of 1,000 and publication in The Caterpillar for the winning story. You can read all about it here

5 June 2015 Winner of inaugural Caterpiller Poetry Prize announced

Richard J. Jones' wins 1,000 for his story 'Let's Just Say' in the inaugural Caterpillar Short Story Prize, and will be published in the spring 2016 issue of The Caterpillar.
